Charleston Bending Brace
The Charleston Bending Brace (CBB) is a scoliosis orthosis used during the night hours only. It provides a "hyper-corrective" force aimed to unbend the curve. An isolated lumbar curve is the main curve type treated with this brace. Since the CBB is worn only at night patients find it easier to wear.
We have been using this brace since 1991 with excellent results.

What to Expect
Measurements and Scanning
Today we need to get information to enable us to manufacture your new Charleston Bending Brace.
Measurements are obtained with a tape measure and a measuring device that gives us your width measurement at various landmarks.
Colors are also picked today from about 30 different colors
