Suresteps
Surestep SMOs or Supra-malleolar orthoses are used to provide stability and helps slow excessive pronation in hypotonic patients. They aim to provide arch support as well as ankle stability. Made of a lightweight and thin plastic they are durable and easier to fit into shoes than the standard ankle foot orthosis (AFO).
Most patients are able to be measured instead of casted for Suresteps.
