Mitchell Sandals

Mitchell sandals or AFO's are used a part of treatment for talipes equine varus or clubfoot. The Mitchell sandals are used in conjunction with either a Dobbs or Ponseti bar to maintain proper alignment of the foot and ankle. These are made of a silicone liner and leather straps. Each sandal is "clipped" into the bars allowing for easy attachment and release for the parent. 


Measurements of the patient's foot are used to determine proper size sandal.
